AGM 2019 – Appointment of Officers, rule changes, etc.

As previously announced, the Annual General Meeting of the Club will be held at Buscot Village Hall on Tuesday 2 April 2019 at 7:15 PM for a prompt 7:30 PM start.
 
Any proposals and committee nominations need to be with Emma by midnight on Saturday 23 March.
 
The appointment of Officers and any proposals affecting the Club finances or the Rules and Constitution will be dealt with at the meeting.
 
Please attend the meeting if you can — it’s a good opportunity to help shape the future of your Club.
 
APPOINTMENT OF OFFICERS
 
Nominations, with seconders, for these or for any other committee posts should be sent to the Secretary, Emma Johnson (secretary@buscotparkarchers.org.uk or 12 Elm Road, Faringdon, Oxon SN7 7EJ), to arrive not later than midnight on Saturday 23 March 2019 in accordance with Rule 11(b) in order to be included in the agenda for the meeting. Nominations by email are perfectly acceptable.
 
The club desperately needs members to participate in its running. For far too long we’ve had committee members having to take on two roles because of the lack of volunteers. This means that some jobs don’t get done.
 
PROPOSALS
 
Any proposals on the Club finances or the Rules and Constitution must be received no later than midnight on Saturday 23 March 2019.
 
OTHER BUSINESS
 
Time permitting, after the main business of the AGM is concluded, the Chairman may at his discretion open the meeting for discussion of other business.
 
SUBSCRIPTIONS
 
Please bring your cheque books, etc. as Club subscriptions are due by 30 April 2019. It helps the Club considerably when subscriptions are received promptly.
