Our beginners course will teach you how to shoot safely and independently — and, of course, have fun doing so. The cost is £65 each per adult and £45 each for juniors (i.e. those under 18 years of age). We provide all the necessary equipment. Courses are held at our field, which is between Faringdon and Lechlade.
Our course is not a series of drop-in sessions — it is structured because there’s quite a lot more than meets the eye to learning how to shoot, but if it was easy it wouldn’t be nearly as much fun. Please do not book a place if you will miss either the first session or more than one of the others. Payment for your place(s) is due in advance of your first session.
We welcome disabled students, but please be aware that we are located in a field and have no disabled toilet facilities.
To find out more and to book your place, please email the Club Secretary — Kathy Critchlow-Smith — at . If the available courses are fully booked please check back here at a later date.
Once your course fee is received the course administrator will confirm your place. If you are paying by internet bank transfer, please email her to let her know you’ve done so.
All our beginners’ courses are led by Archery GB qualified coaches.
Please do not buy any archery equipment beforehand!
In the event of bad weather, an affected session may be rearranged to take place at a mutually convenient time.
